Auto PIGMENTED leather care kits

Auto Leather Care (Pigmented)
Pigmented leathers are coated with opaque pigment that is further coated with a clear urethane topcoat which makes them almost non-absorbent. However, rain and sun damages often experience when the water collected slowly seeps through the stitching rows. It is also these stitching rows that is exposed to the element that leather dryness of its original fat and oil moisture contents evaporates from there. When leather is dry stiffer and flexed or stress it begins to develop cracks. When the cracks meets up it will rip or tear under stress. These stitching rows ate the weak point of the leather and will need to be rejuvenated on a periodic basis into the leather structure to maintain its reap-tensile strength. Below 1800psi the leather is venerable to crack, rip and tear. The suppleness of the leather translated to strength is much depends on the fatliquor. Fatliquor is a VOC (volatile organic compound) and evaporates through aging or intense heat. Just like our engine oil will need periodic topping up as well. Hydrating and fatliquor replenishing these perforated leathers including the stitching holes at periodic intervals ensures long-term suppleness that prevents leather stiffness and cracking. Cleaning cycles are for appearance, leather rejuvenating with hydrating and fatliquoring is for leather suppleness and protector is for the prolonging of the wear to the finishes. Refer to the leather problem-solving matrix for reference to match specific problems or level of care.
