Leather Tannin Cleaner-3.5 by Leather Doctor is for removing cellulose stains such as coffee, tea, wine, some dyes, and most stains from plants and vegetation.
Tannin Cleaner-3.5 is a pH 3.5 aqueous leather-safe tannin stain remover that works by reduction-oxidation (Redox) reaction for all leather types including Vachetta, Nubuck, pigmented, aniline, suede, hair-on-hide, and woolskin.
How to Use Tannin Cleaner-3.5?
1- Concentrates in the bottle has to be cut/mixed with distilled water prior to use.
2- Test for discoloration on a hidden area - check when dry as it may strip some dyes.
3- A thorough cleaning is necessary for compound stains and lets to dry prior to application.
4- Apply by dropper, cotton swab or spray then extract with an absorbent towel until the towel shows clean.
5- Allow natural drying for the chemical reaction to take effect, and repeat as necessary.
6- Rinse residue with Rinse-3.0 to a healthy squeak and let naturally dry.
