Repair - Rip

bicast-rip.jpg

Rip often occurs at the stress area commonly on the seat cushion. Possible cause is an inherent void of the leather structure originally as veins or arteries. Repairs are with Bond-3D that becomes part of the leather and added strength is with a fabric mesh to control strong against normal use. This fine thickness will not show through if too thick a sub-patch is used instead. Color touch up is with opaque Bicast-32 after caulking or sealing the vertical gap with Bond-3D. Transparent aniline Bicast-76 follows as a secondary coloring to impart the beauty of depth. BicastTop-76G gloss luster seals the coloring in the sequence of steps.
