Restoration - Sun Fading

Sun fading is a characteristic of Aniline Wax Pull-up leathers. Since the appearance of the aniline wax pull-up leather comprises of the aniline dyestuff, fatliquor and wax effect a holistic approach is to rejuvenate all of them. 1) Aniline dyestuff may be rejuvenated from within the leather structure by resurfacing them with the help of Hydrator-3.3. When the Hydrator-3.3 is left to dwell up to 72hours with control evaporation using plastic cling wrapper it will activate the dormant dyestuff to a degree to re-distribute and surface. To determine whether new dyestuff is needed will depends on the outcome of the hydrating process and if so desired optional Aniline-21 matching dyestuff is to be used. Depending on the existing topcoat rate of absorbency may be difficult to stain the leather protein fiber direct, if so, it has to be removed completely with Stipper-2.3 and spray dye to stain until satisfaction. Hydrator-3.3 dwelling again will help to redistribute any blotchiness for a more even appearance. 2) Fatliquor (fat and oil) from the tannery averages 14% and begins to evaporate as VOC (volatile organic compound) just like out car engine oil and heat from direct sunlight accelerate the dryness thus looses its color intensity as well. Replenishing will require Fatliquor-5.0. Depending on existing remaining percentage of fatliquor content the desired amount is replenish accordingly. 3) Fashion wax effect contributes to the color distress richness as well and under direct sunlight diminishes too. EffectWax-8.6 is replenished until the desired lively distressed level is achieved.
