Leather Aniline Wax Pull-up Degreaser - Kit-Aw5.dr by Leather Doctor is designed for routine degreasing of leathers from preventing topcoat and dyestuff finishes damages especially to the headrest and armrest areas with most of bare body contacts. Topcoat and dyestuff refinishing products are found in Kit Aw6.tc and Kit Aw7.cl respectively. Preventive regular surface degreasing is preferred over corrective penetrated degreasing as most often, the topcoat is damaged and in severe cases, the dyestuff break bonds with the protein fiber. Preventive degreasing is done before a penetrating darkening effect manifest. Degreaser-2.2 is a waterbased (pH 2.2) multifunctional degreaser that besides emulsifying the grease contamination, it controls dye bleeding and charging the protein fiber ionic positive for strengthening the ionic attraction between the ionic negative tanning agent, dyestuff and fatliquor. Deflocculated and suspended soiling is towel extracted, thereafter rinse and pH balanced with Acidifier-2.0 to prevent the leather from reverting to rawhide. When leather feels sticky or slimy it is a sign of leather denaturing, a squeaky feel when wet is a sign of healthy leather. Hydrator-3.3 relaxes stiff leathers and removes surface tension free from surface blotchiness prior to fat and oil replenishing. Fat and oil is replenished with Fatliquor-5.0 to rejuvenate the leather for the desired suppleness when dry. Wax Effect-8.6 rejuvenates the structural wax pull-up effect and coagulates a cloudy waxy coating on the surface to be heat activated into the characteristic glossy sheen. Protector-D+ enhances a non-stick draggy-feel to shield against sticky soiling, besides healing and concealing lightening scuff and abrasion marks. Note that the mentioned product suffix number denotes its pH value in this holistic leather-safe aniline wax pull-up leathers degreasing system.

Degreasing
Note that darkening effect are penetrated stains and deteriorated topcoat may be removed during the degreasing process.
Topcoat or dyestuff refinishing when necessary is found in Kit Aw6.tc or Kit Aw7.cl respectively.
1. Shake Degreaser-2.2 to gel prior to use.
2. Transfer to horsehair detailing brush and apply with agitation.
3. Suspended soiling is towel extracted until it shows clean.
4. Spray Acidifier-2.0, towel extract until it shows clean and check for a healthy squeaky.
Hydrating
1. Spray Hydrator-3.3 saturating the leather to relax stiff and stick together fibers and to wick out suspended foreign contamination.
2. Covering the surface with tissue paper without airspace allows wick up soiling particulates to be trapped by the paper instead of remaining on the leather surface as it dries.
3. Check for satisfaction prior to fat and oil replenishing.
Fat and Oil Replenishing
1. Apply Fatliquor-5.0 and redistribute with foam brush until saturation.
2. Repeat application each time water contents evaporate until fully saturated.
3. Allow natural drying for extra softness.
Wax Effect Rejuvenating
1. Shake well, spray Wax Effect-8.6, spread evenly with brush or towel and leave natural dry until wax crystal forms on the surface to be heat activated with heat blower or hair dryer to a glossy sheen.
2. AnilineTop-21G for extra sheen in found in Kit Aw6.tc.
Rub-Resistant Protection
1. Mist sprays Protector-D+ redistribute with a paper towel and ready for use when dry.

Leather Doctor® Degreaser-2.2 (120ml)
This is a waterbased pH 2.2 high viscosity formulated leather degreaser. It is for degreasing leather of penetrated oil, grease and sweat stains from skin and hair contact. Emulsified contamination is rinse and pH balanced with Acidifier-2.0 to a healthy squeaky-feel from denaturing the leather to rawhide.
Leather Doctor® Acidifier-2.0 (250ml)
This is a waterbased pH 2.0 leather acidifier to pH balance alkaline overexposure and returning the leather to a healthy squeaky-feel. It is to strengthen the ionic bond between the tanning agent and the leather protein fiber from denaturing to rawhide, dyestuff from bleeding and effective bonding of replenishing fat and oil.
Leather Doctor® Hydrator-3.3 (250ml)
This is a waterbased pH 3.3 leather-safe hydrator with active surfactantcy for lowering the interfacial tension. It is for hydrating dried, stiffed or shrunk leathers to separates the crushed, stick together fibrils and relaxes them. It is for charging the leather protein fibers below its iso-electric point positive for long lasting hydrogen bond with the ionic negative charged Fatliquor-5.0. It is for facilitating colloidal water movement within the leather structure during the wicking process to move soiling particulates to the surface.
Leather Doctor® Fatliquor-5.0 (250ml)
This is a pH 5.0 anionic charged micro emulsion fatliquor to rejuvenate leather with softness, suppleness and strength. It is for replenishing original fat and oil that diminishes thru sun-bleaching, ageing, heat and sweat exposure or cleaning. It penetrates and lubricates the leather fibers so that after drying they will be capable of sliding over one another smoothly. It softens the leather with stretchability, compressibility and flexibility, while enhancing its rip tensile strength greatly. It relaxes coarse breaks, creases and wrinkles enhance suppleness and prevent cracking. It helps to keep leather at its optimum physical performance and prevent premature ageing.
Leather Doctor® Wax Effect-8.6
This is a pH 8.6 waterbased emulsion wax-effect leather rejuvenator.
It is to rejuvenate wax pull-up effect diminished through usage, ageing or cleaning.
Leather Doctor® Protector-D+ (120ml)
This is a non-film forming, non-stick rub-resistant protector that enhances a draggy-feel with a classic leather scent. It imparts a non-stick breathable barrier essentially to shield the detrimental effects of sticky soiling. Its natural draggy-feel protection increases the leather resistance to wet and dry rubs, thus reduce stretch, scuff and abrasion. It is used as a scuff repairer, filling and concealing surface scuffs to improve appearance.
