Woolskin Degreaser-5.6 by Leather Doctor is a woolskin degreaser for degreasing traces of lanolin or greasy soiling that yellows or attracts soiling like a magnet.
Degreaser-5.6 is unlike other degreasers once the grease is suspended it is rinse-free with Woolskin Rinse-4.0 from being reabsorbed.
Degreaser-5.6 is a pH 5.6 hair and wool-safe water-based degreaser for hair-on-hide, woolskin, sheepskin, shearling, feathers, taxidermy mounts, and all fabric except silk and rayon.
How to Use Woolskin Degreaser-5.6?
1- Concentrates in the bottle has to be cut/mixed with distilled water prior to use.
2- Identify, inspect, test, and dry soil removal prior to application.
3-Spray evenly and agitate with appropriate brushes or comb.
4-Dwell 10 to 30 minutes for complete emulsification to occur or before it dries.
5- Extract suspended soiling with a dry absorbent towel until it shows clean.
6- Rinse with wool-safe Rinse Wool-4.0 to a squeaky clean.
7- Groom with an appropriate brush, comb, or slicker brush and let naturally dry.
8- When crispy dried, groom again for a bloom.
